Fall/October 2011

Wow. We are now in fall season and of course lots of holidays are coming up. Excited but man it gets busy in this household. Let's start: Immy is officially in Kindergarten and totally loves it. Each day she asks me what day it is and if it's school day. I'm glad she really likes attending school and hope her interest continues on. She is also starting dancing classes which I was surprised. She wanted to do ballet first cause she wanted to wear the "tutu" lol..but I told her other options in dancing and she liked hip hop. She loves it but it's funny cause after class she would say "I'm tired mommy." But after class I'll treat her at Chick Fil A and she's back to her energetic self. And let me tell you, she still sassy and fiesty as ever and she knows how to push momma's buttons. So this will be a lifetime. lol

I'm doing good and busy. Besides having some skin issues, I'm just glad I'm still able to move around and Keeping Up With the Murphys!! (Immy and Rock and family) haha Rock finally got some wheels that his enjoying very much. Vroom Vroom.

So I said holidays are coming up so definitely we will be extra busy. But I wouldn't have it any other way. As long as we are together, that's what counts and of course keeping touch w/ family and close friends makes it extra special.

Time Has Passed--July 2011

Wow! I really haven't kept up on this blog..I need to get better...so I can at least remember things..lol..well, as you know Immy and I we're pretty much to ourselves for the past six months. Rock was deployed and will be coming home finally this week. So pretty much I was holding down the fort. yuck..But I think I did well..Immy finished and "graduated" preschool. She still has her moments of drama and sassiness but I wouldn't have it any other way. We have a weimeraner dog named Blue..She too is sassy and will need to have more training in her social skills. Healthwise, not to bad, although I was diagnosed with psoriasis and literally had to go to the tanning bed to help clear my skin. But now it's better. oh, it was nice having my mom and niece Isabel come visit us for 2 wks in May/June. Home cooked meals was great! Especially from mom!! I'm glad I had support from all my friends while Rock was gone. It sure helped keep the time go by a bit faster. I met a wonderful friend named Grace. Love our lunch get togethers and just hanging out, esp. with kids playing together. Well, she moved to NC and still keep in touch on fb. well, our plans hopefully is to visit family back on the coast at the end of this month before Immy starts K. But right now, I just can't wait till Rock will be home. The best anniversary present..7 yrs. I'm a lucky gal. :)
